Comedian Mike Casentini

We are happy to announce that comedian Mike Casentini will be taping his debut stand-up comedy album at the Spotlight Comedy Club on August 14th, 2010. For Mike’s debut album, he’s going back to basics, recording his album for audio only. His goal is to produce (3) 30 minute audio CD’s, the first entitled “Who Am I?” a routine structured around the events of Mike’s life that has led him to become a stand-up comedian. The second album, is entitled “Where Am I?” a routine that explains where Mike has been and where Mike is going. The third album, is entitled “What Am I?” a routine describing what Mike has become after all of his experiences to date.

Mike’s goal is to explain his story from his bi-coastal up bringing, living in both New York and California and raised by his single mother. To growing up on a small farm on 14 acres of upstate New York property. Mike moved around a lot as a kid, from the most rural of areas to moving back to the city to watch his mother graduate from Law School. Mike talks about his own failures and successes, like failing out of high school as well as pursuing his own personal interests. He describes getting arrested as well as drug and alcohol abuse.
